To submit your application, you will need to register for a free SmartyGrants account or login to an existing account.
You can either login or register for a new account by clicking ‘Start a submission’.
Your account gives you secure access to the application forms, allowing you to save your progress and resume later.
You can also view the status of your application once you have submitted it using your SmartyGrants account.
On the left side of each page of the form you will find a ‘Form Navigation’ box, this links to every page of the application. Click the link to get to the page you want.
You can also click 'next page' or 'previous page' on the top or bottom of each page to move forward or backward through the application.
If you wish to leave your application halfway through, click 'save and close' and log out.
Click on the 'My Submissions' link at the top of the screen, when you log back in, and you can find a list of your applications you have started. You can reopen your draft application and pick up where you left off.
You can also download any application, whether draft or completed, as a PDF. Click on the 'Download PDF' button located at the bottom of the last page of the application form.
You will find a Review and Submit button at the bottom of the form. You must review your application before you submit it.
Once you have reviewed your application you can submit it by clicking on 'Submit'. You will not be able to submit your application if not all the compulsory questions are answered, or if there are errors in the form.
You cannot edit your application once you submit it. You also cannot edit or upload anymore supporting documents. Please make sure you have reviewed your application and supporting documents before submitting.
Once your application is submitted, you will receive a confirmation email with a copy of your submitted application. SmartyGrants will send this to the email you used to register your account.
If you do not receive a confirmation email after submitting, please check your spam or junk folder. If no confirmation email is received, it is likely that your application was not successfully submitted.
You will need to upload documents to support your application.
You can only attach one file at a time. Files can be up to 25MB each; however, we recommend uploading files no bigger than 5MB. Files larger than this size may take a while to upload.
You can complete your application in a group or team, by using the same log in details, as long as only one person is logged in and working at a time. Make sure you save your progress as you go.
